Adam Stansbie wins 2nd place at >Sync.2015

The International Festival/Competition of Electroacoustic Music and Multimedia - hosted in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The Festival/Competition is held in order to reveal and demonstrate the most talented, artistically valued and highly technological products and projects, characterized by professional use of technology and responding to aesthetic criteria of electroacoustic music. Another most salient goal of the project is the fostering of electroacoustic music as a discipline implemented in the curriculum of higher music education. The main Festival/Competition subject is Electroacoustic music as sound art in the controlled multi-spatial and multimedia-aware environment.

The founders of the International Festival/Competition of Electroacoustic Music and Multimedia “> SYNC.2015” are: The Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Vocational Training “Ural State M.P.Mussorgsky Conservatory (Academy)”, the Independent Nonprofit Organization of Culture “The Yekaterinburg EelectroAcoustic Music Studio” (YEAMS).

The Festival/Competition has the financial backing of the Austrian Cultural Forum and information support from the magazine "Music and Electronics".
