The NERC Environmental Omics Visitor Facility

We aim to make state-of-the-art molecular genetics facilities and training available to the UK science community, in the areas that fall under the remit of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). Researchers do not need to be NERC funded to apply.

Supporting UK science

We support a range of different studies and techniques, and we can provide training in various types of analyses.

We provide bespoke one-to-one laboratory-based training tailored to individual projects.

We also offer training in data analyses and a range of workshops including Metabarcoding and Population Genomics.

Access to facilities and expertise

Successful applicants are provided with training and access to the NEOF facilities for an approved time period.

Applications can be made at any time.

Visiting the facility

Visits to the facility typically vary from weeks to 6 months. Information for visitors to the facility can be found here.
