The MSc in Clinical Neurology is an advanced course, taught exclusively in English.
Applicants should have or expect to attain:
- For “Route A” a 2:1 or higher BSc degree in a relevant biomedical science/healthcare related subject or MBChB degree or equivalent. Medical students can intercalate after completion of three years of their medical degree.
- For “Route B” MBChB degree or equivalent and be eligible for GMC registration.
- English Fluency - Overall IELTS grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in Reading, 6.0 in Writing, 7.0 in Listening and 6.0 in Speaking or equivalent. **The University of Sheffield has amended the English Language qualifications it accepts based on guidance from the UK Border Agency (Home Office). A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for applicants and an Honorary Contract/Research Passport through the relevant NHS Trust. Students will be guided through this process when registered.
