MSc in Genomic Medicine
The MSc in Genomic Medicine can be taken as a :
- Full time over 1 year.
- Part time over 2 years.
In the autumn term: You will learn about the fundamentals of genetics and genomics, including the currently clinical and research applications of genomic technologies.
In the spring term: You will gain practical skills in using and interpreting genomic data. There will then be the option to select different modules based on your learning aims.
In the summer term: You will apply your knowledge and skills to a 15-week genomics-oriented research project.
NOTE: If you do not wish to complete the Research Project, there is the option to complete all five modules in the Spring Term, and then a Literature Review and Professional & Research Skills module in the Summer Term.
