Entry Requirements

The MSc in Reproductive & Developmental Medicine is aimed at students who already have, or are expected to obtain at least an upper second (2:1) BSc in a subject related to biology (e.g. biomedical science, genetics, microbiology), veterinary science or medicine. We may also consider applications from students with a background in other health-related disciplines (e.g. nursing, midwifery).

Applicants with less than a final 2:1 undergraduate qualification (or overseas equivalent) may be considered where evidence of relevant experience can be provided (e.g. work experience in embryology, laboratory or research).

We also accept medical students wishing to undertake an intercalated MSc; this option should be selected in the application system.

Applicants whose first language is not English should provide evidence of their proficiency by submitting an original test certificate (photocopies are NOT acceptable) for the following qualification, or equivalent:

• IELTS 7.0 with minimum of 6.5 in other components

Other English language qualifications may be accepted and support is available to help you improve your English.
