Philosophy of Law
This reading group will look at both classic and contemporary readings from the philosophy of law. We will look at work by such authors as JL Austin, HLA Hart, Ronald Dworkin, Lord Patrick Devlin, Lon Fuller, and JS Mill, covering such topics as natural law, legal realism, positivism, interpretivism, civil disobedience, and paternalism in the law.
