Kant's Third Critique
We are currently working our way through the first half of the work, the Critique of Aesthetic Judgement. (We'll go on to the second half if there is sufficient interest.) We meet on Wednesdays at 1 in Rob Hopkins's office (C11).

Hegel
This semester we will be reading Hegel's Philosophy of Right. This will run alongside Chris Hookway's Hegel module, and will allow those PhD students attending the lectures to discuss the ideas that the book raises (though anyone with an interest not sitting in on the lectures can, of course, attend). We meet on Friday's at 11.00 in the attic.

We will be reading 'The Phenomenology of Perception',
looking at it both in its context as the culmination of the phenomenological movement and as an early work of cognitive science.

We will be discussing recent work in Philosophy of Psychology concerning the hypothesis that there are two systems of reasoning in human cognition. We will meet on Mondays at 4pm, in room B07.
