PHY236 - Computational Physics for Theoretical Physicists

Dr Mark Quinn (Module Leader)

Module Summary

The aim of this module is to develop computational and generic skills for theoretical physicists. Three computational projects involving the Python programming language and computer algebra software SAGE, together with skills sessions devoted to writing reports and literature searches, will enable students to tackle computational and numerical problems and present results in a scientifically rigorous way.
