It has been announced that the University of Sheffield and the Department of Politics are both featured in the QS World Ranking 2014’s top 100.

We are very proud that the Department of Politics has been ranked as one of the top 100 places in the world to study politics and international studies.

The QS World University Rankings provide information for prospective students all over the world who would be interested in studying in one of the world’s top departments. The rankings cover four key performance areas of interest to prospective students – research, teaching, employability and internationalisation.

Professor Nicola Phillips, Head of the Department of Politics, said: “We are delighted and proud that our Department has achieved this status in the QS World University Rankings, one of the most important and influential league tables in the world. It is a reflection of the international reputation of our research and teaching, the exceptional environment in which our staff and students work every day, and the very high regard in which our graduates and their qualifications are held by employers.”
