We are delighted to announce that Dr Hayley Stevenson’s research has been recognised with an Early Career award.
Dr Stevenson, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Politics, received the Early Career award from the University’s Faculty of Social Sciences at its first research conference.
Dr Stevenson said: “I am surprised and delighted to have my research recognised in this way. This award is really a reflection of the vibrant and supportive research culture in the Department of Politics.
“This is a place where interesting and important questions are constantly being developed into excellent research projects. I have personally benefited enormously from working within such an environment over the past few years.”
Professor Nicola Phillips, Head of the Department of Politics, added: “I was delighted to receive the news that Hayley had won this prize for her outstanding research achievements over the last couple of years. She has excelled in a wide range of areas, from her success in securing one of the most competitive and prestigious early-career research grants, and producing research of exceptionally high quality on global climate change politics, food security and other issues.
“This recognition of her achievements is thoroughly merited.”
