Dr Junyan Zhu

Dr Junyan Zhu is a Research Associate in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Sheffield. She earned her PhD in Politics from the University of Nottingham. Her field of research includes political communication, political behaviour, and quantitative methodology. Junyan is currently working on a Leverhulme funded project ‘Understanding Online Political Advertising: Perceptions, Uses and Regulation’ with a team of academics in Sheffield. The project seeks to use interviews, experimental methods, and big data analysis to explore public perceptions, usage, and the perceived legitimacy of online political advertising.
