Support for Partnerships

Within the Partnerships team we provide dedicated account management for selected university-wide relationships, central coordination of the University's business-related memberships and access to partnership information e-resources (e.g. the Salesforce CRM system.) We also support our Knowledge Exchange team to secure and deliver relevant funding streams.

Alongside other teams within Corporate Services, particularly Corporate Communications, Global Engagement and DARE, we support the Vice-Chancellor's office with strategic partnership development activities.

Account management

The Partnerships team oversees the development of university-wide relationships with external partners, typically where these have the potential to become significant in size/value and span multiple faculties or aspects of the University's activities. In addition we can provide dedicated account management for selected partnerships.

Membership coordination

We provide central coordination and a point of contact for the University's membership of selected business-related external organisations. These memberships come with various benefits such as contribution to promotional e-shots, promotion of business related activity via webpages, use of specific member lounges and access to reports and data.

Delivery of funding

Alongside the Knowledge Exchange (KE) team, we can secure and support the delivery of funding related to knowledge exchange and partnerships, for example through the Connecting Capabilities Fund (CCF).

Partnership information and data

We provide management information and data relating to partnerships, including briefings and licensed use of the Salesforce CRM system, alongside Mint UK/Europe. Salesforce, which is used by multiple teams across the University, is used to capture and/or manage partnership activity, and provide a university-wide perspective on our relationships with external organisations. We also carry out due diligence on centrally managed partnerships and can offer advice/support for colleagues who undertake due diligence checks on the partnerships they support.
