A series of free and informal sessions for staff and postgraduates, all about engaging the public with research.
About our masterclasses
The Public Engagement & Impact team run masterclass sessions every month for University staff and postgraduate students.
Each masterclass features keynote presentations from experts in the field. These experts might be academics in the University or external partners such as Sheffield City Council and Museums Sheffield.
The sessions cover a wide range of practical topics, such as how to work with communities, cost an event, measure impact, work with the media, and create and utilise film for maximum public engagement.
