    Inclusion of metadata and structured permalinks and installation of Yoast SEO

Website hosting:
  • University clients:
    Hosted on University server (free of charge)
  • External clients:
    Third party hosting (client’s responsibility)

Optional Costs

  • Training on-site with bespoke summary notes on functionality
  • Future updates to content (after sign-off): Design and artwork is chargeable at our current rate
  • Search engine optimisation
  • Additional commercial plugins and functionality
  • Maintain the technical aspects of the site to keep it updated:
    WordPress; theme; plugins, backup; security; and running efficiently.
    4 hours per year.
    Any annual plugin subscription, at cost to client.
  • Future updates to content (after sign-off):
    Design and artwork is chargeable at the current rate
  • Annual subscription renewals:
    Plugins, at cost to client.

Responsibility:

  • University client websites are hosted on the University server.
  • P&DS purchase theme and all plugins on behalf of the client (chargeable to client).
  • P&DS to manually update other plugins as required.
  • Alerts to be sent to P&DS.
