During Level 3, a student must attain a satisfactory standard in a Flight Laboratory Course, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Aerospace Engineering Board of Studies.

Before proceeding to Level 3, a student must pass AER120 Introduction to Aerospace Design, including attaining a satisfactory standard in a) Engineering Applications, and b) Engineering Drawing and Computer-aided Design, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Aerospace Engineering Board of Studies.

A student who does not pass the Aerospace Individual Investigative Project (ACS389 / AER389 / COM389 / EEE389 / MAT389 / MEC389) at the first attempt will be ineligible for the award of the Degree with Honours.
