A student must pass CIV4000 Individual Research Project or CIV4004 European-Based Individual Research Study at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng in Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU19). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to be awarded the Degree of BEng in Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU20) but will be ineligible for the award of that Degree with Honours.
