Before proceeding to Level 3, a student will attain a satisfactory standard an Industrial Project, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of Department.

A student must normally achieve a weighted mean grade of 55 or above at Level 2 in order to proceed to the Year in Industry, progression being at the discretion of the Head of Department. A student who fails to progress may be permitted to become instead a candidate for the Degree of BEng Electronic and Communications Engineering (EEEU13).
