A person may be admitted as a student for the degree of MA who is a recognised graduate in a first degree in Landscape Architecture;

OR

A person may be admitted as a student for the Degree of MA who is a recognised graduate in a relevant subject and has normally had not less than nine months of practical experience, approved by the Head of Department, of activities related to landscape management practice.

A person who holds other qualifications deemed appropriate to the Faculty together with not less than five years of practical experience, approved by the Head of Department, of activities related to landscape management practice may only be admitted as a student for the Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Management. Such a student will pursue the programme of study prescribed at 1A above.

A student with relevant prior experience may be permitted by the Head of Department to take units to the value of five credits in place of LSC6150.

A student for the Degree of MA who has been awarded one hundred and twenty credits in respect of units listed at 1A above will be eligible for the award of the Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Management (LSCT104).

A student for the Postgraduate Diploma who has been awarded one hundred and twenty credits in respect of units listed at 1A above may, based on performance in those units be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of MA in Landscape Management.

A student who is unsuccessful in the re-sit examination for the Degree of MA may be required to become instead a student for the Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Management (LSCT104).

A student for the Degree of MA who has been awarded sixty credits in respect of the units listed at 1A above will be eligible for the award of the Postgraduate Certificate in Landscape Management.
