MLA (UG) Landscape Architecture (LSCU111)     FT

Year 1


1

A person may be admitted as a student who

(a) is a recognised graduate whose first degree is wholly or principally in Landscape Architecture or Design and is of a standard satisfactory to the Faculty

 and

(b) has had work experience satisfactory to the Head of Department in a landscape design or management practice. In this instance a student will be initially registered on LSCU110, "Landscape Architecture" - Year in Practice", with the expectation of progression to LSCU111 upon completion of the practical experience. A person who has completed an equivalent course of practical experience at another institution may also be admitted.

LSC5020  Rural Landscape Planning AUT SEM 20 credits
LSC5030  Urban Design Project AUT SEM 20 credits

A student must achieve a mean grade of not less than 49.5 in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MLA in Landscape Architecture.


4

A student who satisfies the requirements for the award of the Degree of MLA in Landscape Architecture may, on the recommendation of the Examiners, be awarded a mark of distinction.
