Year 1

A person may be admitted as a student who:

(i) has a good Honours Degree or substantial experience in a relevant professional practice setting or has gained work experience deemed acceptable by the Faculty; and

(ii) has a professional qualification in a relevant social work, health or social care field; and

(iii) is employed in a relevant practice setting.

The programme of study shall normally be pursued part time for not less than three years unless exempted from agreed study elements and should be subject to a time limit of six years.

A student who has been awarded sixty credits in respect of units listed at 3A  will be eligible for the award of the Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Professional Practice (SCST25).
