A student who has been awarded one hundred and twenty credits in respect of 1A, 1C, 1D and 1E above and who does not proceed to Level 2 will be eligible for the award of the Certificate in Applied Social Sciences (SMIU11).
A student will select a pathway from the following list and follow the regulations for level 2 as prescribed under the designated programme code:
(i) SMIU03 BSc Applied Social Sciences with Physical Geography
(ii) SMIU04 BA Applied Social Sciences with Human Geography
(iii) SMIU05 BA Applied Social Sciences with Sociology
(iv) SMIU06 BA Applied Social Sciences with Social Policy
(v) SMIU07 BA Applied Social Sciences with Politics
(vi) SMIU08 BA Applied Social Sciences with Criminology
(vii) SMIU09 BA Applied Social Sciences with Urban Studies
(viii) SMIU10 BA Applied Social Sciences with Education, Childhood and Culture
(ix) SMIU11 BA Applied Social Sciences with Journalism
