CIV6611   Sustainable Concrete Technology   (15 credits)

Description

This module aims to give you understanding of the make up of concrete, its properties, performance and environmental impact. You will also be introduced to new materials and practice aimed for sustainable construction. The module is assessed using an invigilated exam paper, a lab group report and presentation and a written assignment on sustainable concrete construction covering literature and case study research. The module will allow you to build effective communication with your peers within a group setting and through technical report writing and presentation.
