Description

The Environment is an integral part of industrial operation. Management Graduates require knowledge of their professional responsibilities in relation to environmental concerns. This unit introduces students to methods for describing and disseminating the interaction between industrial activities and the environment. This unit starts introduces students to core concepts of environmental engineering and management, including environmental law, environmental management systems and systems understanding in environmental context. This includes understanding of data collection and application in these context. This leads the students to apply environmental management techniques such as life cycle analysis to determine and judge environmental performance of industries and products.
