Angela Fawcett new Vice-president of BDA

Dr. Angela Fawcett has just been appointed as a Vice President of the British Dyslexia Association. This is a major honour, in that the BDA has very few academic VPs - the only ones until now being Professors Tim Miles, Peter Pumfrey and Maggie Snowling. She deserves this richly, being the Editor the journal 'Dyslexia: An International Journal of Research and Practice', which was founded by the BDA. She was also Chair of the BDA Sixth International Conference in Warwick 2004, a major four day event with around 1000 attendees.
