Department wins three awards in this year's ESRC +3 open competition
The department has won THREE awards in this year's ESRC +3 (Economic and Social Research Council) open competition.
Congratulations go to:
Helen Batey whose PhD will be on "Intrusive thoughts in deliberate self-harm", to be supervised by Jackie Andrade and Jon May (in collaboration with Emily Holmes and Mark Williams at Oxford University).
Maria Chu whose PhD will be on "The Development of Children's Understanding of Persuasive Intent in Advertising Messages: A Comparison in Four Cultures" to be supervised by Mark Blades and Jane Herbert.
Tracy Epton whose PhD will be on "The self and health: Testing Self-affirmation theory and its effect on the acceptance of health risk information" to be supervised by Peter Harris and Chris Armitage.
