Objectives:

  • To develop a comprehensive working method for monitoring data management under uncertainty.
  • To assess current data management approaches at ITN partners and suggest possible improvements.
Tasks and methodology: Based on a literature survey + practical tests on the data for the Eindhoven catchment, an inventory of data management procedures currently applied to manage water quality monitoring data for sewer, WWTP and rivers will be made. This inventory will result in a set of best practices, which will be the material used to develop the proposed working method.
Results: : Further development of the IWA/IAHR framework (D1.1, D4.2). Improved version of integrated model Infoworks ICM version of Eindhoven catchment. Manuals and guidelines on practical application of uncertainty analysis frameworks and efficient data collection (D6.7, D6.2). Journal papers on uncertainty framework, propagation of uncertainties, advanced data management, model based decision support.
Dissemination: Manuals and guidelines on practical application of uncertainty analysis frameworks and efficient data collection (D6.7, D6.2). Journal papers on uncertainty framework, propagation of uncertainties, advanced data management.
Planned secondments: To WU (1 month), writing manuals for the practical application of the uncertainty frameworks. 1 week to all partners, to introduce and coordinate new uniform methodology for monitoring data management.
