A confidential mentoring scheme designed and delivered by Dr Kay Guccione to support postgraduate researchers with the writing of their thesis.

301 Student Skills and Development Centre

A range of services and online study skills, including specialist languages and dyslexia/SpLD support.

Teaching Development for Researchers

Sheffield Teaching Assistant offers Early Career Researchers and Research Students a series of workshops provide an introduction to effective practice in the key areas of teaching activity.

For Research Students this is fully integrated into the DDP.

Think Ahead: SURE Scheme

A scheme which offers Early Career Researchers within the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry & Health and Science the opportunity to develop many of the skills considered necessary for a career in research by managing their own 6 to 8 week research project.
