Athena SWAN Bronze Award for ScHARR

Dr Eva Kaltenthaler and Rachael CollisonThe Athena SWAN Charter recognises commitment to advancing women's careers in STEMM academia: science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine. ScHARR was presented with the Athena SWAN Bronze Award at the Athena SWAN awards ceremenony on 6 June at the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Dr Eva Kaltenthaler from ScHARR and Rachael Collison from the Department of Human Resources (pictured right) accepted the Award for ScHARR, along with representatives from the Department of Animal and Plant Sciences, the other Department at the University of Sheffield to hold an Athena SWAN award.

Dr Eva Kaltenthaler, Reader in Health Technology Assessment and Managing Director of the ScHARR Technology Assessment Group said "We were very pleased to receive the Athena SWAN Bronze award. This recognises ScHARR's commitment to developing an excellent and supportive workplace for women and continued engagement with equality and diversity issues. We are now working hard on our application for a silver award."
