Profile

I am a Public Health Registrar enrolled in the HEE Yorkshire and the Humber Public Health Specialty Training programme. As part of this programme I completed the Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Sheffield. I have experience of public health practice in local authority settings across the Yorkshire and the Humber, and work closely with the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield.

In 2018 I completed a two-year research fellowship – MD (Res) - in Child Public Health at Imperial College London. I lead a research project that designed and tested a behavioural intervention that supported families to care for unwell children, and prevent avoidable emergency hospital attendances. I am a clinician by background with a range of acute hospital and community experience.

Research interests

My research interests include healthcare systems planning, child public health and work supporting those with a health disability.
