I completed my medical degree at the University of Leeds in 2012.  After foundation training, I joined the Public Health Speciality Registrar Training Programme in Yorkshire and Humber.

As part of this programme I undertook a Masters in Public Health at the University of York, which I completed in 2015. I also completed a Masters in Medical Law and Ethics from the University of Manchester in 2016.

I am currently based within the NHS England Specialised Commissioning team, but am in ScHARR on placement 1 day a week and am also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in the Section of Public Health, ScHARR.  I am undertaking research into health inequalities associated with Pancreatic Cancer outcomes in Yorkshire and Humber.

Research interests

My research interests are health inequalities and cancer outcomes.

Current projects

Pancreatic cancer outcomes in Yorkshire and Humber.

Teaching interests

My teaching interests lie in practical/service related public health , particularly healthcare public health.

I am a tutor on the 3a Public Health Module for MBBS students.
