- Profile
-
I joined the CTRU in July 2018, as a Research Assistant on I-SOCIALISE (Investigating Social Competence and Isolation in children with Autism taking part in LEGO-based therapy clubs In School Environments) and E-SEE (Enhancing Social and Emotional health and Wellbeing in the Early Years).
Prior to joining the CTRU, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology. I worked on two Randomised Controlled Trials that investigated how parents might be able to encourage language and vocabulary development in children and babies, using shared book reading. I also have a degree in English Language from the University of Manchester.
- Research interests
-
I am particularly interested in research that aims to better our understanding of child development, and that investigates the effectiveness of interventions or measures that can be put in place to ensure that all children have the best possible start in life.
