We offer a wide range of postgraduate taught courses, many of which can be studied via attending or Online (OL) routes.

You can study for a Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits), a Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits) or an Masters (180 credits). Most of our programmes are offered on a part-time or full-time basis. Most of the modules studied on our courses are available for individual study and we also offer related short courses taught by staff from ScHARR.

Our Masters courses are specifically designed to provide you with the analytical skills, the in depth disciplinary knowledge, plus the capacity to deploy critical thinking all of which are essential to working effectively in health organisations in a globalised world. Our courses provide the essential stepping stone for you to become a leader in your chosen area.

Our mission is to provide research-led teaching, informed by our position as one of the largest multi-disciplinary Schools of public health research and health services research in the UK.

*** Please note that ScHARR is changing the way we talk about distance learning. It will now be referred to as "online learning". During this transition, you may see both terms used while central systems update. Please note that the courses and their content remain unaffected by the change in terminology. ***
