Excellence in teaching
Our MSc in Human Nutrition has been accredited by the Association for Nutrition. Accreditation recognises university courses which deliver evidence-based nutrition education to a professional level.

Research Excellence Framework
In the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF), ScHARR was ranked 4th in the UK for the power of our health research, and in the top 6 for the volume of world leading research being conducted.
Developing our students
ScHARR is one of a small number of UK universities to have an ISPOR student chapter. The mission of this chapter is to complement our extensive postgraduate programmes in health economics, to help develop future leaders in health economics.
In April 2017 ScHARR once again received the Athena SWAN Silver Award in recognition of our commitment to equality and diversity. ScHARR is fully committed to supporting our staff and students who come from a wide range of backgrounds and communities.
