SCHARR ethics training requirements

All SCHARR staff are required to take mandatory ethics training, and all students and staff must complete the online data security training before submitting an ethics application.

Off

The online ethics application includes a "mandatory training" field that contains links to the three required courses, which automatically displays the date of completion. If any of the courses is incomplete, you will be unable to continue with your application.

Where an application covers a number of researchers (such as a project team or a generic application covering a group of students) the researcher or staff member who submits the application should ensure that all colleagues or students covered by the application have completed the necessary training. Evidence of completion does not need to be uploaded to the application for every person.
