Biography

I joined the Clinical Trials Research Unit in July 2014, having completed my BSc in Human Communication Sciences, and my MA in Cognitive Studies at the University of Sheffield.

I am currently working as a Research Assistant supporting the DAFNEplus trial within the unit.

Research Interests

My research interests include:

  • Language and cognition
  • Disorders of speech and language
  • Computerised therapy in mental health, and assistive technology
  • Cognitive neuroscience of perception

Current Projects

  • DAFNEplus: Developing and trialling the DAFNEplus (Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating) intervention. A lifelong approach to promote effective self-management in adults with type 1 diabetes
