I joined CTRU as a Medical Statistician in October 2011. Before that I graduated with a BSc degree in Economics and Mathematics and an MSc in Statistics with Medical Applications from The University of Sheffield. I have also worked for the NIHR Research Design Service Yorkshire and the Humber (RDS-YH) and in the Cancer Clinical Trials Centre, Sheffield.

Current Projects

I am involved in the following projects:

  • ASPECT - Alleviating Specific Phobias Experienced by Children Trial
  • Journeying through Dementia - A randomised controlled trial of the clinical and cost-effectiveness of the Journeying through Dementia intervention compared to usual care
  • The PITSTOP Study - Pllonidal sinus Treatment: STudying the OPtions
  • ASTIClite - Autologgous Stem cell Transplantation IN refractory Crohn's disease - Low Intensity Therapy Evaluation

  • Clinical trials methodology
  • Cluster randomised controlled trials and clustering in individually randomised controlled trials
  • Multiple imputation for dealing with missing data
  • Design and analysis of pilot trials
  • Complex interventions
