I joined the CTRU in August 2018 as a research assistant on PITSTOP (Pilonidal Sinus: Studying the Options). Prior to joining the CTRU I worked as a Psychological Well being Practitioner in the NHS delivering CBT therapy for a high volume caseload of patients with depression and anxiety.
I have also worked as a research assistant completing systematic reviews on a variety of topics including measurements of coping skills, educational psychology themes and personality measures. I worked on a mixed methods study to determine the changing ethos and values in the Irish school system. I also completed a four year research internship with a focus on social psychological research topics.
