This year’s ISPOR Europe conference is taking place in Copenhagen (2-6 November 2019) and as usual, HEDS staff including Professor John Brazier will be representing our work at ScHARR.

  • Professor John Brazier will be delivering a new short course entitled 'Health State Utility (HSU) Recommendations for Identification and Use of HSU Data in Cost-Effective Modelling' on Saturday 2nd November
  • Professor Allan Wailoo & Dr. Monica Hernandez who will be delivering a short course on Mapping to Estimate Utility Values from Non-Preference-Based Outcome Measures (Sunday 3rd November)
  • Dr. Praveen Thokala will be presenting a “How-to guide” on developing an ISPOR Good practices task force (Monday 4th November)
  • Dr Donna Rowen will be presenting an issues panel entitled ‘Valuing Health in Children – Where are we now?’
  • Professor Paul Tappenden will be participating in the panel “Reduction of bias or a burden? The use of individual patient models for submission to HTA authorities”
  • Meanwhile, Dr Olena Mandrik will be chairing an ISPOR Task Force and hosting a workshop on ‘Risk of Bias in Systematic Reviews with Cost and Cost-Effectiveness Outcomes’, as well as presenting a poster

Other HEDS poster presentations to look out for include Professor Alan Brennan; Laura Flight, Tushar Srivastava and Ben Kearns, all of whom will be in attendance.
