Profile

I came to work at the University of Sheffield in January 2009 in the Mental Health Group, originally as a temp to help with administrative support on the IAPT project (An evaluation of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme).

Since then I have become a UoS staff member (June 2011) and remained within the Mental Health Group. I have continued to provide administrative support to various research projects over this time, such as:

  • IQuESTS, which aimed to improve the quality and effectiveness of psychological therapies for people with longer-term depression.
  • AdEPT, which aimed to understand and prevent adverse effects in psychological therapies.
  • DEUCE study (Drivers of Demand for Emergency and Urgent CarE) understanding patients' and public perspectives.
  • PRaCTICED trial (Pragmatic, Randomised Controlled Trial assessing the non-Inferiority of Counselling and its Effectiveness for Depression) to determine the clinical and cost-effectiveness of CfD compared with CBT as delivered in primary care for clients with moderate or severe depression.
