Kirsty graduated from the University of Manchester with an intercalated honours degree in the History of Medicine in 1997 and a medical degree in 2000. She completed an MRes in Public Health from Manchester in 2007. She is a part-time Specialty Registrar in Emergency Medicine in the North West region as well as her work at ScHARR.
Research area/thesis title
Development and validation of a clinical score to identify patients at high clinical risk and those that could be managed elsewhere at point of contact in the Emergency Department or with Emergency Medical Services (subset of DAVROS project).
Also a member of the steering group for PAINTED (Pandemic INflueza Triage in the Emergency Department).
