I worked as an officer in Nepal for more than twelve years in different INGOs, NGOs and Government Offices. On arrival in the UK in 2009, I attended the University of Aberdeen where I did a masters degree before joining the University of Sheffield in October 2010 as a PhD student in the Section of Public Health.
My research interest is on international migration and public health particularly the effects of male migration on health service utilisation, depression and autonomy of left behind wives at the country of origin.
Effects of international male migration on wives left behind in Nepal.
