Booking and Payment

Bookings are processed through our Online Store, where all of our ScHARR short courses are initially processed.  Payment is via Credit/Debit card or Paypal.

If your employer is paying your fees and they would prefer to be invoiced, please ensure that you select the Invoice Option, when making your booking and that all invoice details are provided (contact email address, full address, purchase order number) then forward a copy of the Purchase Order to scharr-scu@sheffield.ac.uk.

Brief Description

This 1 day short course will go through the key concepts and principles that underpin health needs assessments.  Tools and techniques will be explored as well as a practical look at how to plan and carry out a health needs assessment.

Who will benefit from this course?

This short course would be useful for professionals involved in health service planning and commissioning e.g. local authorities, CCGs and health service providers.

Course content

The course will consist of a mixture of presentations, group work, discussions and individual exercises.

Course Materials

A copy of all course materials will be provided on USB plus a hard copy of the handouts/exercises where necessary. A hard copy of presentations are available upon request.

Delegates are asked to provide their own laptop for the duration of the course.
