SEAS NSS 2015

Students in the School of East Asian Studies (SEAS) have recognised the quality of our teaching in the 2015 National Student Survey (NSS). Our overall satisfaction was 87%. When asked about the teaching on their courses, 93% of students were satisfied, placing us joint top in Asian Studies in the UK. In the case of Japanese Studies students, this number rose to 97%. SEAS was also joint top in the cateogry of organisation and management.

SEAS saw its highest ever response rate of 82% in 2015.

Head of Department, Professor Hugo Dobson said:
"We are delighted with these results and I would like to thank both our recent cohort of graduates for their feedback this year and the staff for their commitment to teaching and supporting our students. We have no intention of resting on our laurels. Improving the student experience is an ongoing process."
