As an NHS clinician my primary interest is in clinical research, with a particular focus on thyroid, upper GI, hepatobiliary and colorectal cancers. I am local principal investigator for a number of national trials in these areas, a member of the Trial Management Group of a number of these studies, and serve on the NCRI Upper GI Clinical Studies Group and Thyroid Subgroup.
As Clinical Lead for the North Trent Cancer Research Network I have responsibility for promoting cancer clinical trials wherever patients are being investigated for or receiving treatment for cancer across our Network.
