I am a PhD student at the University of Sheffield. I investigate how useful wearable augmented reality(AR) technology is for industrial manufacturing. Additionally, what kind of information is useful, what kind of user interface should be designed, and the contribution of augmented reality to human trust and industrial efficiency will be investigated. The Microsoft HoloLens 2 will be used in this research, and the Unity game engine will be used as the primary development environment. This research project also covers ROS1 and ROS-Industrial. The project will be conducted in collaboration with the AMRC (Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre) and Sheffield Robotics.
