Research Clusters

The School Research Clusters capture common interests and approaches of staff and postgraduates across our languages. Through a diverse and dynamic range of activities, including work-in-progress workshops, study days, and roundtables, the Research Clusters foster exchange and collaboration on larger project bids, as well as research mentoring, and leadership experience. The strategic aim of the Research Clusters is to promote innovative work in their spheres of specialism, in order to support staff career development as researchers. Research Clusters also support postgraduate students by offering the opportunity to give short presentations to a mixed audience whose research interests coalesce.
