In collaboration with the School of Education and the Applied Quantitative Methods Network (AQMeN) we are hosting a half day conference bringing together the latest education research with cutting edge quantitative research methods.

The free conference includes presentations from Professor Cristina Iannelli from The University of Edinburgh on social inequalities in subject choices in school and Dr George Leckie from The University of Bristol about the rich – poor achievement gaps in English schools.

SMI Director Professor Gwilym Pryce will be highlighting the importance of quantitative methods in education research and discussing the latest innovations in quantitative research methodology.
