I joined ScHARR in 2015 to work on data management for MCRU projects, having worked in data management for HE procurement systems for seven years before that. I became part of CURE when it was set up in 2016, and work mainly on projects involving linkage and analysis of large routine datasets from healthcare providers.

Current project:
- CUREd+: linkage of routine data from urgent and emergency care providers nationwide and in Yorkshire and the Humber, to establish a research database.
Previous projects:
- PJI: do invasive dental procedures cause Prosthetic Joint Infections?
- IDEA: Invasive Dentistry - Endocarditis Association - a study of the link between invasive dental procedures and critical medical events (infective endocarditis, myocardial infarction, stroke, pulmonary embolus and spontaneous pre-term birth).
- CHC: Connected Health Cities - linkage of routine data from urgent and emergency care providers across Yorkshire and the Humber, to establish a research database.
- YHS: the Yorkshire Health Study - the largest long term health study in Yorkshire.
- ARP: evaluation of the NHS England Ambulance Response Programme.
- VAN: understanding variation in rates of ambulance service non-conveyance of patients to an emergency department.
