"Two ANNP trainees from Leicester have just completed their course.  The course was of a high standard and has prepared our staff well for their role. The teaching and assessment strategy was well thought out and fit for purpose. The clinical components were appropriate and paper work kept to a minimum!

The course was taught by a multidisciplinary team with a wide range of experience and the latest techniques in medical and nursing education, including simulation based training and technology enhanced learning were utilised.

The ANNPs enjoyed their course and spoke highly of the staff and facilities in Sheffield. I had excellent support and guidance as a medical tutor. The course was one of the first to use eportfolio which was an excellent tool for monitoring progress and clinical skills.  I would strongly recommend this course to nurses interested in becoming a nurse practitioner- we have already registered 2 more of our staff following the feedback we received from students."

"I am thoroughly enjoying being part of the ANNP course at Sheffield University. Watching the students grow in confidence over the year is immensely rewarding as a teacher. The course is well balanced between theory and practical skills training which has very successfully produced a cohort of highly skilled practitioners that we are very lucky to have in our region!"

“I have found the ANNP course in Sheffield to be very enjoyable. The support from tutors and clinical staff has been excellent. Outside speakers have been very good, and the course content, although hard, has been about what I expected. Overall I feel prepared for my new role. Thank you Liz, and the team."
