What was the best or most useful thing about the Digital Media and Society MA course at the University of Sheffield?

It was a fruitful experience to study the Digital Media and Society MA at the University of Sheffield. I had lots of opportunities to learn, from the discussions with my classmates and the various modules delivered by highly qualified lecturers, to the opportunities to hear from guest speakers who were from different backgrounds over the world.

Why did you decide to study at the University of Sheffield?

The University of Sheffield met my search criteria. I was looking for one of the top universities in UK that offers digital media courses, and at the same time I was looking for a friendly and safe city for a Muslim student. Sheffield was the best choice that I got among UK universities that were listed in Shanghai Ranking of World Universities. The city is multi-cultural and there are many Arab students who study at the University of Sheffield. Also, the student societies in the city's universities and colleges are very active. There are lots of benefits of being in Sheffield: the living cost is cheapest compared to London and Manchester, and there is the availability of Halal food, and choices of student accommodation.
